It's that time of the year! We currently have flu vaccines available at all our clinics, while supplies last! Just ask us upon your next visit or feel free to call and schedule a time with us. Flu vaccines are covered by most insurances and we do also accept out-of-pocket costs.

What are some fun things you’re doing to stay cool during the summer?
Slide 1: Did you know? August is the hottest month on the Hawaiian islands.
Slide 2: And temperatures have been rising. Here is what you need to know to prevent heat exhaustion. Swipe left to learn more about how to have a safe summer.
Slide 3: Symptoms of heat exhaustion. Headache, dizziness & confusion, being very thirsty, excessive sweating, fast breathing or fast pulse, cramps, high temperature, body aches, nausea & vomiting.
Slide 4: Stay Hydrated. Drink plenty of water especially before and during physical activity. Carry around a water bottle & increase your daily intake. Drink sports drinks to replenish your electrolytes.
Slide 5: Choose your time outside. Early morning & late evenings are the coolest times of day. Stay in the shade if you need to be outside throughout the day. Older individuals are more susceptible to heat exhaustion, especially if you have high blood pressure.
Slide 6: Dress to stay cool. Wear “summer” branded clothes that cater to staying cool. Wear natural fiber materials like cotton and rayon. Wear a hat to provide shade at a moment’s notice.
