The Kuya Stand Up, Speak Out Project is an initiative to heal and change the narrative around Domestic Violence in our community. Our young men and women are fulfilling their part in educating their peers and being good role models in their community.

In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we would like to invite everyone to join us on Thursday, October 26 from 4-5:30 PM for our Walk Against Domestic Violence. We will have a short program at KVIBE (1638 Kamehameha IV Rd.) followed by a sign-waving in front of the KKV Main Clinic and Wellness Center.

Our young men and boys will be wearing purple shirts with traditional Chuukese skirts to show their solidarity to those affected by violence, so we encourage everyone to join them in doing so. Please also bring signs if you have them!
