Sweetgrass is holding space for The Sacral Stories—a four-part series rooted in education, advocacy, pleasure, healing, and connection. Together, we’ll explore the wisdom of the pelvic floor, embodied transitions through pregnancy and postpartum, sexual health and intimacy, and the power of being held in community.

A gentle reminder for your Tuesday: You do not have to be 'on' all the time. 📵

We are living through a high-intensity political climate, and for many, the constant influx of news can trigger a fight-or-flight response. While staying informed is important, protecting your peace—especially during pregnancy and the postpartum period—is a form of healthcare.

If the 'heaviness' is becoming too much:

Set a news timer: 15 minutes a day, then put the phone away.

Focus on the local: Connect with your 'village' or your immediate community.

Know your limits: It’s okay to mute the noise for a while.

We are here to support you in finding that balance. Your mental health is the foundation of your family’s well-being. 🌿

We spend months meticulously planning for labor and delivery—the "big day." Think of it this way: Planning your birth is like planning a wedding, but planning the postpartum period is planning the marriage. It’s the daily, foundational work that truly determines how well you thrive. Our new 9 page postpartum plan is your tool to plan that next stage. Check it out on our website to buy it or learn more. Also provided this for all of our clients and can even incorporate into session. https://www.nurturementalhealth.com/post/your-essential-guide-to-the-fourth-trimester-and-beyond

Reflecting on a truly busy and fulfilling October! I am so grateful for the opportunities to connect with families and providers across the state. From walking in honor of loss to hosting a Postpartum Wellness Day and training behavioral health professionals, this month was dedicated to education, connection, and expanding support for perinatal mental health.

Read all about it on our blog post.

October was defined by action and advocacy. Stepping away from the office and into various communities across Oahu, I was powerfully reminded of the critical need for support surrounding pregnancy, infant loss, and the postpartum journey. My schedule was a meaningful whirlwind of speaking engagement...
