I have been working nine hours every day straight for the past two weeks. So on the weekends after working so long, I really enjoy going out for such a lovely dinner. This is Herringbone in Waikiki. We ordered duck with fois gras on a bed of choy sum and spinach, octopus from Spain, salmon on a bed of roasted vegetables including Napa cabbage, shemeiji mushrooms and long beans, and a cucumber mint drink~
Everything was so delicious and cooked perfectly. The most tender octopus I have ever eaten. The duck was so tender but not raw. We have put this on the list of restaurants we love~

The addition of fresh rosemary and shiitake mushrooms really gave the soup a buttery texture which I love. This is one of the only two ways I found I love to eat clams, The other being steamed egg with clams inside. It seems like they need a creamy pair.
