✨Meet your HDHA Immediate Past President, Noelani Greene, RDH, BSDH✨

🦷 I am Noelani Greene, Immediate-Past President of HDHA. I am from Kealakekua, on Hawaii Island. I currently reside in Kailua-Kona with my husband, Justin and my fur-baby Teddy. I work full-time as the General Manager of Teshima’s Restaurant, which is my great-grandmother’s Japanese Restaurant. I also work as clinical RDH at Kealakekua Dental and I Lecture for the University of Hawaii Maui College. In my free time I enjoy shopping and sleeping. It is a pleasure to serve HDHA and represent my fellow HawaII dental hygienists’.

✨ Meet your 2026 HDHA President, Christen Coloma! ✨

🦷 Christen resides in Ewa Beach and is a graduate of Campbell High School. After high school, she attended Seattle University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in General Science with Biology and Chemistry concentrations. Christen moved back home after graduation and spent the next couple of years working in dentistry as a dental assistant and dental receptionist. It was during this time that she decided to pursue her passion for dental hygiene. She continued her studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM) and earned her second bachelor’s degree, Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2017. She also earned an Advanced Professional Certificate for Expanded Function Dental Hygiene in Pediatrics as part of the inaugural class of 2019 also from UHM.

🦷 She is a full-time clinician working in both private practice and school-based settings. Outside of work, Christen enjoys spending time with loved ones, dancing hula, binge-watching reality TV shows, and traveling to new places to explore culture through cuisine.

🦷 She would like to send a shoutout to the HDHA members who have volunteered their time and talents to be a part of this year’s HDHA leadership team alongside her by highlighting these individuals in this member spotlight mini-series.

Join HDHA for an in-person, BLS CPR Re-certification course provided by Heartline Hawaii on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 9am-12pm in the Recreation Room at the Regency Park Condo, 3138 Waialae Ave. Honolulu, HI 96816. Guest parking is available on-site. This course satisfies the hands-on skill portion as required by the Hawaii Board of Dentistry for license renewal in Hawaii.

2025 HDHA Annual Scientific Session - 9 CEs

Each year, the HDHA organizes an event on Oahu featuring dental industry leaders as speakers of CE courses, including an Ethics course required for Hawaii RDH license renewal. Network and build relationships with your fellow Hawaii hygienists, vendors and your HDHA leadership team.

What: BLS CPR Renewal Course (includes in person hands-on skill portion, as required by HBOD)

Cost: $50 HDHA members, $75 non-members (maximum of 35 capacity)
