The 54th Hexagram is known as the Marrying Maiden and is made up of the elements of Thunder over Lake.

In the I’Ching, Thunder represents the eldest son and Lake represents the youngest daughter. It represents the archetype of a concubine who rises up in the hierarchy to become the empress.

The Gate of Ambition is about the drive to be materially successful and attain a higher status in life. This is also the drive to rise up on a spiritual level. It provides the fuel and ambition to transform your material direction and standing in life.

The 54th Shadow is Greed, which can manifest as being unambitious (repressive nature) or greedy (reactive nature).

I have this Gene Key in my Life’s Work and IQ, so I know this shadow very well. What I’ve witnessed is that being unambitious shows up when I am afraid of my greed or denying it.

I sacrifice my own needs and wellbeing because I am afraid of my own greed. I am afraid of what greed can do, because I have witnessed its destructive power in myself and others.

But denying my own greed isn’t the answer.

In order to access the Gift that is within each shadow, we have to allow, accept and embrace it.

The 54th Gift of Aspiration emerges from within Greed. Aspiration leverages greed from a more open-hearted place rather than from fear.

This is about aspiring to something beyond just material wealth and accumulation.

You aspire to a higher vision of prosperity that moves beyond the personal and into the communal.

You aspire to create lasting equilibrium in the global economy which means moving money from places where it’s not needed and just accumulated to places where there’s not enough.

Prometheus is the 2nd Face of the Godhead in Human Design and falls in the 4th Quarter of Mutation.

In Greek mythology, Prometheus is referred to as the God of Fire and is best known for defying the Olympian gods by stealing fire from them and giving it to humanity in the form of technology and knowledge. He is also credited with the creation of humanity and civilization from clay.

The punishment that was given to Prometheus for stealing fire from Olympus was that he was bound to a rock and an eagle (the emblem of Zeus) was sent to eat his liver, which would grow back every night only to be eaten again the next day.

This face of the Godhead contains gates 9, 5, 26, and 11 which all code for the amino acid Threonine and form the Codon Ring of Light.

Prometheus is where the programming that we are created in the image of the gods is rooted. Being created in their image means that we experience the light and the dark- the gods encompassed everything and displayed a wide spectrum of possibilities.

We are mirrors for the chaos of the gods.

This is where tribal communication and negotiation is rooted through gate 26. Gate 5 creates the rituals and patterns and gate 26 gets others to participate in the rituals and defends them against others.

Gate 9 creates the focus on the pattern and rituals. This is the step by step focus and energy to concentrate on the details.

Gate 11 creates ideas and on how to create peace and gate 26 is prepared to fight for peace.

The 11th Hexagram is known as Peace, which is made up of the elements of Earth over Heaven, which represents harmony between people and their surroundings. Heaven and Earth bring peace and blessings to all living creatures.

The Gate of Ideas is connected to the left eye and visual memory. It experiences a constant stream of ideas and visual images that it weaves into specific beliefs that can eventually be expressed through gate 56.

This gate is about the stimulation that comes from sharing your ideas with others. Ideas are not facts, but simply possibilities.

It’s not about transforming these ideas into action or feeling pressure to manifest them into the world, but rather to stimulate reflection.

The 11th Shadow is Obscurity, which places interference between how your brain process, translates, and communicates light. This can manifest as fantasizing or being deluded.

The majority of humanity lives within a very narrow band of light waves, which means they don’t see clearly.

Obscurity is also about the “promises of the light” from others that prevents us from seeing the truth and trusting in our own authority.

The 11th Gift of Idealism is about learning to trust and believe in the power of your dreams while remaining detached from how and when they manifest into the world.

Before you can manifest your dreams into the world, you have to discover what your true ideals are.

This key teaches us that light is found within the darkness. At higher frequencies, nothing is obscured and everything is seen in terms of light and frequency.

Through this view, it becomes clear who is authentic and who is out of integrity with their ideals.

The 26th Hexagram is known as The Taming Power of the Great or Great Accumulation and is made up of the elements of Mountain over Heaven, which gives the image of Heaven set between the peaks of the mountains and accumulating rain. It symbolizes the storing up of things, nourishment, accumulation, and virtue.

The Gate of the Egoist is about marketing, sales, and getting the greatest reward for minimum output. It’s known as the trickster- someone who can confidently manipulate any situation to their advantage.

Being located in the Heart center- it needs to be supported and rewarded for its effort. This manifests as an ability to find shortcuts and get the most out of every situation.

The 26th Shadow is Pride, which can manifest as manipulative (repressive nature) or boastful (reactive nature). Pride is about the incorrect use of willpower that leads to taking advantage of others and trying to achieve your goals by any means necessary.

Pride is rooted in a zero sum belief that if someone rises up there is less opportunity available to you. This is the “every man for himself” mindset where someone always loses.

The 26th Gift of Artfulness is about learning to celebrate your ego without judgment and use it in service of the whole rather than just for your own personal gain. This is about being in full awareness of your ego without being identified with it.

This is about learning the difference between using willpower and force to get what you want and the power of intention and trusting in your dreams.

Artfulness is Pride used creatively in service to your higher purpose. It loves attention and selling- whether that’s a product, yourself, or a truth. It sells through love. This is heart marketing.

The 5th Hexagram is known as Waiting or Needing and is made up of the elements of Water over Heaven. This symbolizes rain descending from the clouds to provide life to those below. It’s seen as someone praying or waiting for rain, which is what feeds their crops and provides water to drink.

The Gate of Fixed Rhythms is what fixes the pattern of all life and is present within all life forms (mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, and single cells) with the exception of plants, which have gate 15 but not gate 5.

This is the gate of Habits and Ritual. Out of this gate emerges a deep sense of trust that comes as a result of everything following a universal flow.

Being in the flow is the mechanism that binds all life forms together in the "rhythm of life. It's highly attuned to the deeper patterns of life, including the seasons.

The 5th Shadow is Impatience, which is rooted in the fear of time running out and not trusting in the natural timing of life.

This can manifest as being pessimistic (repressive nature), which is a deep fear that nothing in life will ever get better or pushy (reactive nature), which pushes other people around and tries to force its own timing, often making situations worse.

The 5th Gift of Patience is about trust. If you trust in life, you trust in the timing of every moment, even the challenging ones. This is how you remain in the flow of life.

The only way to break out of impatience is patience. What's ironic is that it takes patience to build patience. This is why it's a self-proving Gift- the more patient you are the easier it becomes to be patient.

Patience is an experience deep in the body that leads to the opening of your heart that allows you to access the library of light within you.

Patience is about learning to wait. Waiting isn't the lack of action, it's a state that is pregnant with possibilities. You become a witness to your own impatience and stop the actions that come out of that state.

Greed. The Shadow of my Life’s Work and IQ (Gene Key 54).

When I discovered that this was one of the shadows that I carried not just once but twice in my Hologenetic Profile, I immediately went to searching for how I could get rid of it… or at least repress it enough that no one would recognize it in me.

This led to me becoming completely unambitious and rejecting my own material needs because I didn’t want to appear greedy.

The Gift of Aspiration is found between unambitious (repressive nature) and greedy (reactive nature). It knows how to leverage greed in a more open hearted way that is about more than just material wealth and accumulation.

I now see greed as one of my divine teachers. Through transforming my relationship with greed, I’ve alchemized it into greed for something more than just money:

I’m so greedy for each individual to love themselves unconditionally and to be empowered to live as themselves.

I’m so greedy to create a society where we honor our planet and each other. ⁣

I’m so greedy to birth a world where we understand that our individual and collective liberation is connected to the liberation of the most marginalized.
⁣
I’m so greedy to see a world we’re we don’t have to fight for the basic human rights and where everyone has equal access.

I’m so greedy to witness hierarchies crumble and the emergence of the SYNARCHY.
⁣
I use to believe that there was something wrong with my deep desire for more, but now I see it as one of my greatest gifts, especially when used in service of the whole.

⁣Aspiration is unlocked when we use greed (a desire for more) not only for our personal gain but for the collective. ⁣
⁣
Our shadows are here to remind us of the light. They bring challenges, pain, and suffering in order to awaken us to our true nature. ⁣
⁣
When you allow, accept, and embrace your shadow frequencies you unlock the hidden gifts that’ve always been within you. ⁣
