In the spirit of giving, Ewa Beach native and Washington Nationals catcher, Caleb Lomavita, visited Shriners Children’s Hawaii to deliver toys and present a $1,650 donation raised through the holiday toy drive he hosted to support our patients.

Joined by his family and girlfriend, Caleb toured our hospital and spent special time with our keiki in Recreation Therapy. Mahalo Caleb for making the holidays brighter for our kids! We’ll be cheering you on in the 2026 season. ⚾

Santa made a special visit from the North Pole to our hospital to spread holiday cheer to our keiki!

After his visit, some of our patients gathered in Recreation Therapy to excitedly open their presents, thoughtfully wrapped by our RT team. Nothing makes the holidays more special than seeing the smiles and joy on our keiki’s faces. ❤️

Gearing up for the Hawaii Bowl, we were thrilled to welcome several players from the University of Hawaiʻi football team! 🌈🏈 Our patients and staff had an unforgettable experience meeting the players, collecting autographs, and snapping photos to capture these special memories.

Making a special trip from Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, we were thrilled to welcome two very special guests—Mickey and Stitch!

Our patients and staff had an absolute blast meeting these iconic characters and snapping photos, creating truly magical memories we’ll cherish this holiday season.

To celebrate the holiday season and show our appreciation for our incredible staff, we hosted our annual craft fair and holiday party.

During lunch, staff enjoyed live music, holiday shopping at the craft fair, and an amazing variety of food from local food trucks.

A huge mahalo to JMR Food Concept, The Munchie Machine, G Town Catering, and Ilea’s Kitchen for serving up some onolicious eats, and to Hui Mālama for setting the vibe with their beautiful live singing.

’Tis the season of giving! Our Recreation Therapy team hosted their annual “Wrapped Up With Aloha” blanket drive, and the impact was truly heartwarming. Nearly 80 blankets were donated by our incredible staff, then specially wrapped with love by our patients, families and RT team to be gifted to Hawai‘i Homeless Healthcare Hui.

Mahalo to our staff for coming together to make a difference spreading warmth and care this holiday season!

We were honored to once again host our Research ‘Aha (meeting, gatherin) that welcomed nearly 80 healthcare professionals, students and residents. Centered around the theme “Value-Based Care,” our incredible lineup of guest speakers shared their expertise on elevating care quality and enhancing the patient experience.

This week, our keiki were in for a special treat with a surprise performance from Cirque du Soleil’s ‘Auana! The performers shared a sneak peek of their balloon act, hula, and acrobatic dancing—bringing so much excitement and joy to our patients and families.

The fun continued with face painting and a photo-op session, making the day even more memorable. Mahalo to our friends at Cirque du Soleil for creating unforgettable moments for our keiki!
