Motivation Mondays:
As The SuperHuman Trainer, I make a conscious, relentless effort to train in almost every modality of exercise, strength and conditioning, sports, and martial art that I possibly can. Whether it's slow steady-state long-distance running, sprinting, jump roping, Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Kettlebells, Free Weights, Resistance Bands, Suspension Training, Calisthenics, Yoga, Aerobics, Boxing, or even kickboxing (and so much more), I'm always game to push myself to be versatile, to be adaptable, to do things I'm not comfortable with. 'Til this day, I am still an proactive practitioner, not someone who talks about it or used to do it a long time ago. That's just like kickin' old war stories or talking about the golden years of high school...
There are people out there who interpret “proactive” to mean pushy, aggressive, cocky, arrogant or insensitive; but that isn’t the case at all. I, too, was guilty of believing this. I have come to realize that proactive people aren’t pushy. They are smart. They value drive. They read reality. They know what’s needed and make adjustments according to the current situation. They adapt.
With that said, I am confident and proud as The SuperHuman Trainer to be able to actively practice what I preach, and I actively preach to my V.I.P. Clientele, my allied-health professional clients, their patients, my family, my friends, and especially, to all of you out there in social media land. I walk the talk. Talk the walk. Share the talk. Share the walk. Walk with me...
