The Hawaii Keiki Program, which is part of the UH Nancy Atmosphera-Welsh School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene, provides no-cost dental sealant services to Title I DOE students. In the past year, the program revised its protocols to provide the safest care for the students in schools. Several of the treatments were conducted outdoors to increase ventilation. The program will restart its services in December, servicing schools across Oahu, Maui and Kauai.
