At ShrineABILITY Camp, confidence climbs higher than you ever thought possible.

Hosted by Shriners Children’s St. Louis, the experience brings kids with upper extremity differences together to try new activities in a supportive, encouraging environment.

For 7-year-old Jordyn, the rock wall was more than an obstacle, it was a chance to show what’s possible.

Experiences like Jordyn’s are what ShrineABILITY Camp is all about — helping kids build confidence and discover just how much they can do.

Casey’s mom knew she was in the right place from the first visit to Shriners Children’s New England. Casey was diagnosed with plagiocephaly, a condition in which a baby’s head is misshapen or develops a flat spot. His medical team recommended cranial remolding therapy, also known as helmet therapy, to guide his natural skull growth and gently correct his head shape. When Kiaʻi was born with clubfoot, his grandmother knew exactly where to turn for help. At just 20 days old, he began gentle manipulation and casting treatment at Shriners Children's Hawaii. With serial casting and bracing, Kiaʻi grew stronger and remarkably avoided surgery. Today, at age 10, Kiaʻi enjoys surfing, swimming, playing ukulele and dreams of becoming a firefighter. With his grandmother's support and the care he received, nothing holds him back.
