Hi, this is Kelly with Medical Expectations. We offer an automatic text reminding service for patients in regard to their dressing changes. Who could I speak to about providing this service for your patients?
- We have been in the wound care business for 20 years and have seen that one of the biggest challenges to healing is the patient forgetting to change their dressings as prescribed. (ie, Diabetic dementia, neuropathy, etc)
- Our service provides customizable reminders that can follow the frequency of change in their treatment plan and include whatever information you as the clinic would like us to include.
- We also tie the reminder back to the clinic in giving credit to you as the provider.
- Our goal is to increase patient compliance which will result in better outcomes. Medicare and commercial insurances are beginning to track this type of progress, which will affect their reimbursement rates.
- These reminders will also assist the patient in accomplishing greater self-care.
- If there are other reminders you would like to include, such as lifestyle or health monitoring activities, we can customize the messages for these as well.
- We are looking to start this process as of May 1st. We would need the following info in order to provide this service.
