šŸ’š many of us need the reminders and motivation to be kinder to ourselves.

The work of shows that when we are judgmental and shaming instead of kind and curious; the learning centers of the brain shut down.
Not only is being kind to ourselves obviously good for our wellbeing and life satisfaction, but it also opens us to greater creativity and resourcefulness; ensuring that we perform better and in turn have a greater chance of reaching our goals.

In my own healing journey , I’ve realized that it doesn’t really matter what you achieve if you’re not able to hold the space for love and kindness towards yourself in the process.

This attitude of kindness and curiosity is one of three elements of mindfulness that Dr Shapiro unpacks in her book Goodmorning, I love you ā¤ļø one of my favorite for sure and I love the journal too šŸ’«

Who is ready to let go unnecessary shame & judgment and replace it with curiosity and kindness? šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’ØšŸ‘šŸ½ (P.S it might be a lifelong process šŸ˜‚ but what you practice grows stronger)

šŸ˜‹ This is one of my favorite savory , hot breakfasts and it’s sooo simple sis -
1. Scramble eggs in ghee
2. Remove eggs when done
3. Keep pan on heat and add spinach and coconut aminos and sautƩ for 30seconds
4. Serve eggs and spinach with sliced avocado & black pepper šŸ„‘

That’s it! Nourishing nutrition CAN be simple and tasty. Most of the meal ideas in our programs have 5 or less ingredients. Because when it’s simple + quick , there’s no excuses šŸ’ŖšŸ»

Nourishing nutrition is just one of the lifestyle areas we focus on , but it’s one that many people struggle with; yet it can have a huge impact on your wellbeing.

Happy šŸ˜ Two of the biggest obstacles my clients face when first coming to me for is the belief that they 1.) don’t have the time to take care of themselves and 2.) ā€˜healthy food doesn’t taste good’ /aka they crave the foods they grew up with and these comfort foods aren’t always ā€˜healthy’. I hear you, sis!

When it comes to our beliefs I love the phrase ā€˜real, but not necessarily true.’ Those are real beliefs , but are they true?

✨ It’s part of my mission to show you that these beliefs do not need to be your Truth.. by empowering you with the mindset AND tools that you need to make delicious , nourishing meals ✨

One of my funnest skillsets is co-creating recipes with my clients to create healthier alternatives to the meals that they love.

The biggest ā€˜hack’ I’ve found to expand time - in a society that is rife with distractions that condensing time - is mindful awareness.
✨Being fully present to life’s moments , more often than not.
✨To be fully awake to the richness of your life.

All my coaching sessions and programs put this theme of mindfulness at the center. Because it’s crucial to the transformation that you’ve been longing for. Through mindful eating , you’ll improve your digestion , metabolism, satiety response , cravings and figure out which foods work for your body. Through mindful breathing , you’ll reduce your stress levels , harmonize your hormones and be less reactive. Those are just two examples šŸ’«

Hi Insta fam! It’s the last Wednesday of October and here are some super simple tips that you can apply daily during this often challenging time of the year.

Here are 5 simple tips to incorporate into you day to support your well-being , hormonal harmony and detox support systems:
1. Consume two cups of leafy greens 🄬 salads , smoothies, soups are easy ways to make it happen.
2. Fill your plate with brightly colored fruits and vegetables. Some of my favorites: dark berries, beets, purple sweet potato, orange bell peppers, purple cabbage, carrots.
3. Hydrate! I like to add in electrolytes during the day and magnesium powder at night.
4. Move your body every day. Even a 12 minute brisk walk will positively impact your metabolic profile. 12 minutes. No excuses šŸ’ŖšŸ»
5. Replace refined sugar and carbs with whole food sources. Sweet potato in place of bread , date balls in place of candy, coconut berry sorbet in place of ice cream. There are so many options , no need to feel deprived. Your body and future self will thank you! My sugar free guide has more ideas. Link in bio(under gifts).

These tips are not earth shattering - you’ve probably read them or similar tips somewhere before.

I hold her close, feeling her heart beat against mine. Feeling her breath on the nap of my neck. As life breathes through her, I whisper Thank you. Thank you for this precious , precious life.Ā

Every morning and every evening , I say this prayer of Thanks as I hold my daughter.Ā  Lately, I’ve been holding her a little longer and a little tighter.. And as I do so, Ā my heart bleeds for the parents and children around the world who are not as blessed…whose basic right to life has been taken from them. I pray for their healing and the healing of this world. A world where instead of focusing on our differences, we can connect on our shared humanness. Where we lay down weapons and instead hold each other’s hands - to feel that the life that moves through me is the same life that moves through you. That the illusion of separateness just creates more suffering for us all.

Here is a prayer / meditation that you can do by simply placing one or both hands on your heart and repeat as many times as you like.
Ā 
May all beings be free from danger.
May all beings be free of suffering. Ā 
May all beings be protected and safe.
May all beings be filed with love and kindness.

P.S I don’t spend much time online, but have seen lots of nasty , dividing comments in my short time 😳So, yes we need more than prayer for this world to heal and to put an end to the violence and suffering, Ā and I’m by no means an expert in any of this. But, I do know that , if we don’t at the very least take a few moments to get centered in our own hearts and remember our common humanity, we won’t get very far in moving towards a more loving, peaceful world. (And our own personal wellbeing can only go so far in a world that is not well.)

Let’s talk platters! They are so underrated. Why?
šŸ’‹you only have to wash ONE dish. The cutting board that you make the platter on IS the serving board too. One thing to clean for the whole meal. Enough saidšŸ˜‚šŸ„³
šŸ’‹it’s simple to make and you can use whichever nourishing goodies you have on hand.
šŸ’‹Platters are a fun, fresh & easy way to have a light dinner. If you’re a women who wants to achieve hormonal harmony and fire up your metabolism; research shows it’s better to eat a large breakfast and light dinner. There’s been research done specifically on PCOS & the timing and size of your meals. One study showed that women with PCOS who ate a large breakfast and light dinner (for 90 days) had significant improvement in insulin sensitivity , ovulation and decrease in androgenic symptoms(versus the group who had a small breakfast and large dinner.)

Share with a friend who has PCOS or a mama who just wants a quick cooking life hack 🫶 My little loves platters too.

Happy 2023! Being in the profession of change , it’s been interesting to notice my own resistance against creating new years resolutions. In sitting with it , I realized it’s because this time is ripe for tapping into spacious awareness, mindful reflection, release and preparing to reset with the great Mother Earth , in Her new year ; the Springtime.

In creating a spacious container that allows the mind , body and spirit to be well nourished, you become crystal clear on how YOU want to live this beautiful life that you’ve been given.

With clarity , the unnecessary layers are shed and you’ll be ready for the transformation you’ve been yearning for.

I know this to be true; because I’ve experienced it myself and supported others on their journey.

Hi lovelies! I wanted to pop in and share two simple tips that are especially useful during this busy , indulgent holiday season.
🌱Eat a rainbow of colors. Each color on your plate offers a variety of benefits to . For example the blue/purple/black spectrum , like the sweet potatoes pictured offer cognitive health , cell protection & anti inflammatory benefits. Green , like the beans and broccolini pictured , are great for liver health , heart health and hormone balance. There are so many yummy, colors to chose from on the spectrum - red, orange , yellow, green, blue/purple/black & white/tan/brown. Synthetic colors don’t count😳 So - whether you want to live at your , have more energy or your physical resilience (which for me meant a major reduction of and ), eating a rainbow is such a fun, colorful way to prioritize your well-being during the holidays and beyond šŸ¤“
🌱Eat Mindfully. No matter what you are feeding yourself - really chew and experience your food , with all your senses. This is a super underrated practice that you can do anytime, is free , doesn’t require much extra time and has a ton of benefits. Including improved digestion, more pleasure and not overeating. You just have to remember to do it! And when you’re eating foods that may not serve your - remember, those first two bites are the most magical - nothing after will match the level of enjoyment. Try it out! Saying a gratitude prayer or taking two deep breathes before eating serves as an anchor point to remind your body to eat mindfully.
