Meet Dr. Kristi Koyanagi. She is a local who graduated from Mid Pacific Institute. She then went to University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences with a minor in dance. During her undergraduate studies, she began working as a dental assistant & developed a love for dentistry. She carried this love into dental school at the University of Missouri Kansas City, where she received numerous awards & a scholarship for her success through dental school. Meet Dr. Bobby Kim. Dr. Kim was born & raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from Roosevelt High School & got his Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. After dabbling in screen & theatre acting, he started shadowing dental offices & chose to be a dentist due to the interesting, multifaceted nature of the profession. He went on to get his dental degree from Roseman University of Health Sciences in Salt Lake City, Utah. He then returned home upon graduation to join Ala Moana Dental Care.
