Ke Koa is a Hawaiian word for brave, bold, fearless, valiant, courageous, soldier, warrior, fighter, hero. Kekoa Collective was founded in 2009 on the idea that surfing, jiu jitsu and traveling could be a way of life - and we’ve never looked back. A few years later we discovered yoga, and now cannot live without it. We live by three simple life rules: work hard, play hard and do-good. It is with this passion and joy that we live a life of humble means in terms of material wealth, but infinite in terms of happiness and self-fulfillment. In short, sharing and teaching extends into our everyday life. In or out of the ocean, on or off the mat.

Inspired by the resourcefulness of Hawai‘i’s plantation workers who once turned rice bags into clothing, Jasper Wong reimagined those nostalgic prints into a bold and symbolic kimono.

✨ Hand-drawn cranes for longevity and peace
🧸 Kokeshi doll motifs for joy and protection
🌹 Roses for passion—the kind that lives in every jiu jitsu roll

And on the inside? A reversible tortoise shell lining infused with Kikkoman patterns, honoring The Crane and the Turtle—a story of harmony and endurance.

Crafted from a first-ever canvas material, sublimated with Jasper’s artwork and finished with embroidery… each kimono is completely unique.

We can’t wait for you to wear it.

Day 2 — even better than we imagined.
More faces, more stories, more aloha.
We watched people connect over art, over rolls, and over the love for this community. 🌺🥋

Friday was also Jasper’s final day painting live—
and watching people add their names, share their why, and become part of a piece for cancer research…

But don’t worry Friday and Saturday he will be signing the rice bag Gis! So come on by the booth to check them out! It’s a collectible for sure

That’s the kind of moment we’ll carry long after this weekend ends. 🎨💛

We’ve got one more day together.
