Attended the 1st Annual Hamakua-Kohala Community Health and Wellness event in Waimea on the Big Island of Hawaii. Had the pleasure of working with Michael Russo, MD, Neurologists, Sleep Medicine,Trini Murphy,Certified Speech Pathologist and Certified Orofacial Myologist, and with the great support of Sara Colon. Together we worked to screen kids for signs and symptoms of Sleep Disordered Breathing. I think we were all surprised at the number of kids that had airway issues! Lots of work to do!
