Expectation: A romantic staycation at my favorite hotel to enjoy some sunshine and quality time between the kids coming for the summer and a TDY.

Reality: Arrived 4 hours late and did zero tanning, boyfriend worked twice and we spent most of our time with friends! I also tore my calf muscle the day before so any plans involving running or walking were canceled. 🤣

But I got the cute photo and had a wonderful time 🌺
