Athlete's Treasure

Athlete's Treasure Sport Psychology Services. Mental Skills and Biofeedback training to improve athletic performance.

Mental Training refers to the systematic and consistent practice of mental or psychological skills to enhance athletic performance, increase enjoyment, or to achieve greater sport and physical activity self-satisfaction. Biofeedback or biological feedback help athletes become aware of their physiological responses to challenging situations. Equipped with this knowledge, athletes can manage the responses to maximize performance.

Our greatest asset in 2026 is not a strategy or a plan; it is our capacity to transform. Breaking old habits takes courage, but it is the gateway to real progress. Which core behaviors will you upgrade today to set the tone for an exceptional year?
May 2026 bring you clarity, renewal, and the gentle discipline to become who you are meant to be.

I am stepping into this new year with purpose, discipline, and hunger.
I am stronger than my doubts, bigger than my excuses, and committed to the work that will shape who I become.
Every session, every choice, every moment of effort moves me closer to the athlete I know I can be.
I rise when it’s hard. I focus when it matters. I show up fully.
This year, I raise my standards—and I meet them.
Happy New Year, Champion!
❤️

🎄 Merry Christmas, athletes!
May your holiday be filled with joy, good food, and just enough family chaos to count as resilience training. Rest well, laugh hard, and remember—mental toughness also means surviving Aunt’s unsolicited life advice.
I look forward to seeing you stronger in the new season.
❤️

Standing on the edge of human limits 🌊✨
In Hawaii, I’m working with Big Wave surfers to explore how the mind and body respond when facing the ocean’s most extreme challenges. Through biofeedback, mindfulness, and real-time physiological recording during performance, we are uncovering what happens when the stakes are life and death.

Dear athletes,
Wishing each of you a Merry Christmas filled with rest, joy, and the people who bring you strength. This time of year is a reminder to slow down, breathe deeply, and appreciate how far you’ve come—not just as athletes, but as human beings who continue to grow with courage and intention.
As you enjoy the holidays, I also invite you to begin gently preparing your mind for the season ahead. Not with pressure, but with awareness. With curiosity. With the quiet confidence that comes from knowing you’re capable of more than you’ve shown so far.
Let this season recharge you. Let it ground you. And let it spark the mindset we’ll carry into the next chapter: focused, resilient, and ready to rise.
Merry Christmas, and here’s to a powerful year to come.
Warmly,

Would you happen to know what she is attending to?
Physical sensations in the body...
Outside noise...
Ruminative thoughts...
Anticipating the future
Or
Reading the movements of the opponent?
I can help you train your attention to always focus on what is relevant to performance.
I am a performance psychology and Biofeedback practitioner, and I can use Biofeedback, neurofeedback, mental skills, and even physiological recording during real-time performance to help you understand what is happening "when the pressure is ON" and develop the skills to take control of your attention. Mental Preparation of young athletes is not just about teaching them mental skills; it is about empowering their support system, too!
Parents play an important role in shaping how athletes respond to pressure, setbacks, and success. That’s why effective mental training must include guiding parents to reinforce the right strategies at home, on the sidelines, and in everyday conversations. When parents understand how to model resilience, confidence, and emotional regulation, they become active partners in their child’s growth—not just spectators.
Mental toughness starts with the athlete, but the environment sustains it, and we help build around them.

You are fit, have developed your abilities to the highest levels, trained your tactical skills for competitions, and…
“You underperformed!”
It is a shame, but high performance also depends on striking a balance between intense training and periods of rest and recovery.
If not fully recovered, the chances of making mistakes are increased, leading to poor performance and sometimes injuries. However, HRV is a cardio biomarker used to assess an athlete’s adaptability to training, so we know for sure when the athlete is ready and when more rest is needed.
If you want to know more ways to assess your readiness to perform, schedule your consultation.

What controls your attention? You or your Emotions?

During the critical moments of competition, you may have trouble choosing what to focus on. Noise from the crowd, insults from the opponent, past mistakes, self-doubt, and many other things are competing for your attention.
Your mental preparation can give you back control of your attention.

Because… being able to control your attention is so essential to athletic performance that my PhD dissertation proposal (Applied Psychophysiology program) focuses on developing devices to measure the direction of attention during real-time performance. And if you can see what is happening, then I can tailor your mental training according to your specific needs.
