An Ecstatic Dance Journey is a free movement and mindfulness practice. This particular practice is designed to help you drop into your body, mind, and emotions; moving with them. It invites you into a deeper understanding of your life experience, to step away from analysis, and touch the raw energy of whatever may be stored in your body. This is all in service of moving stagnancy, and internal walls or tension to open to a more authentic expression of self. We begin with a grounding somatic meditation before building into movement and dance. The whole practice will have some light guidance throughout as we move through the various rhythms that are inspired by four elements & their related nervous system states: Earth, Water, Fire, & Air.
Hosted at Flow Yoga Monthly on Sundays 11:30am
Reserve 2 hours for the experience, 90 min +/- of this is music with some time at the begging and end to drop in and close the circle.
You do not need to know how to dance, and this practice is not choreographed. Think "dancing in your living room" kind of vibe. Some people are lying down, swaying, doing yoga etc. during the practice.
You do not need a mat.
Bring water and comfortable clothing to move or sweat in.
I provide earplugs for those that are sound sensitive.

Just returned from an amazing bodywork training in pulmonary function. All about fascial release around the lungs, ribcage, heart, diaphragm, liver, neck/spine. It can be super helpful with improving spinal extension/rotation, shoulder mobility, and of course - improving breath.
I would love to see some extra people come in specifically to refine these techniques so I am offering a promo for the month of april/may.
55 min Session for $100 ($25 discount). That will include fascial release around the lungs, heart, diaphragm, ribcage, upperback/neck. The goal is to help free up and improve breathing mechanics, as well as neck, spine, and shoulder mobility.
