Magic moments from .carter and epic short documentary about racing in the M2O race… link in bio if you haven’t seen it already 🙌🏻

1. Flying on the groundswells on a Hawaii Kai downwinder. Looking to the birds for inspiration on how to draw smooth lines in the chaotic ocean.
2. Pre Downwind serenity
3. Sup-Foiling practicing Getting up and staying up for as long as possible.
4. Starting to find the groove in the middle of the Kaiwi Channel for M2O.
5. Talking start line strategy with Captain Andrew, “get up early and get going before the boats come along”, he said to me. I should have taken that advice to heart better.
6. P**e and welcoming announcement at the beach before the start of the race.
7. Boat chaos shortly after the start of the race, hundreds of boats in the water all looking for their athletes.
8. Having a cold bottle of water after the race. Cant look at the camera because of the mixed bag of feelings.
9. Sharing some laughs with my good friend Ryan Funk before the start of Maui to Molokai.
10. Finish after trying the new foil out during the Paddle Imua race on Maui.
11. Looking at modeling graphs with Bobby on a meeting discussing drawbacks and benefits of different sizes, aspect ratios, and profiles.
12. Running around training.
13. Sanding the race foils to make them all hydrophilic.
14. One-Lock One love. Easiest setup and breakdown for downwinding.
