I like this article. Most of us in the gorge love to recreate outdoors so prioritizing intentional cross training can be tricky. I don't love "one size fits all" types of workouts but this one is as good as that gets.

Minimalist workout for all-around strength:
-3x6 pull-up
-3x8 goblet squat
-3x16 push-up
-3x8 lunge
-3x8 single-leg deadlift

(2-3x week)

I am VERY excited to be opening up again! I will be diligently following the requirements set by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and Occupational Safety and Hazard Administration (OSHA). If you have any questions please reach out. My absolute priority is to keep everyone safe and I'll need your help to do that. Please be patient with me and the procedures as we navigate this new territory:)

NEW SAFETY PROCEDURES:

-FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Please bring your own. I will be wearing one as well and at times, a face shield.
-On the day of your appointment please complete the online COVID-19 questionnaire and liability waiver prior to your arrival.
-Please wait in your car and then text 971-258-1802 to let me know that you have arrived. I will let you in when the office is cleaned and ready for you.
-Once inside, you must wash your hands in the restroom or use the provided hand sanitizer.
-Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment. Exceptions may be made for caregivers.
-Please do not bring any unnecessary items such as coats, purses, bags, etc. to your appointment.
-To avoid handling credit cards I will be sending a SQUARE INVOICE to your email after the visit. Please pay immediately after your appointment.
-I've also opened up the office so it's one big space and will have the windows open most of the time.

Please contact me before your appointment to reschedule if the answer to either of the following questions is YES (late cancel fees will obviously be waived):

*Have you recently experienced any of the following symptoms: cough, fever or chills, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, fatigue, headache, new loss of taste or smell, muscle or body aches, headache, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea?

*Have you been in close contact with anyone with these symptoms or who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days?

You can schedule online @ amylesliedc.com. Spots are filling up fast and I have limited availability so please plan ahead.

Thank so much so helping me keep everyone safe! I can't wait to see you again:)

Our Story

Hi. I’m Dr. Amy Leslie - athlete, mother, connector, supporter, Canadian. Most importantly, I am a doctor who is deeply passionate about the well being of my clients, quality of life, and their ability to do the things they love. My career as a former professional figure skater, training in sports medicine, and journey through pregnancy into motherhood, I have developed a keen sense of body mechanics and am intimately aware of the spine’s potential for movement, strength and grace as well as the injuries and physical changes that result from a body reaching it’s edge.

My promise to you is to provide the attention, touch, and tools for your body to heal naturally through a holistic approach to chiropractic care based on three pillars: adjustments, facial muscular therapy, and rehab exercises. Different from most “rack ‘em and crack ‘em” chiropractors, I will always meet you where you are by customizing each visit and treatment plan for your specific needs and goals. Together, we will attend to your body in ways that produce results for living a physically active, healthy and vibrant life with the ability to partake in the activities that bring you joy. Now that the serious stuff is out the way, here are some fun facts about Dr. Leslie. She grew up on a small farm in Manitoba, Canada and spent most of my childhood skating at the local ice rink. She continued skating and went on to become a two-time National Ice Dancing Champion in Canada. She then joined the professional circuit, touring around the world with Disney on Ice’s Finding Nemo. When she isn’t helping people lead healthier lives in the clinic she can be found playing mounting biking, skate skiing, flying around on a trapeze, meditating or exploring the Oregon outdoors with her family. People occasionally like to poke fun at her Canadian accent but she thinks it’s no big deal eh.
