Hawks Ridge raised $326.00 at our first Kentucky Derby Event! Breen from The Columbia Gorge Food Bank conducted a presentation to educate our residents and guests about food scarcity in our tri-county area and services The Columbia Food Bank provides. Through generous donations and volunteers in our local community; people residing in the Gorge are able to receive food at dedicated locations when they need it. Thank you Breen and The Columbia Gorge Food Bank!

More kite making fun at Hawks Ridge. We constructed a kite provided by Bristol Hospice. Ryan our Life Enrichment Director painted our logo front and center. Our residents helped to build and also decorate the kite. Bristol Hospice is holding their annual Memorial Kite Festival on Saturday May 9th. We will be attending the event and flying our kite high!

Hawks Ridge held its first Kentucky Derby Marble Race Event on May 2cd. This was a fund raiser event to raise awareness and funds for our local Columbia Gorge Food Bank. We raised $326.00 in donations for the cause! Residents and guests enjoyed placing bets on the derby marbles/horses to win place or show. A good time was had by all. A lot of hard work, prep, and fun went into this awesome event. Check out our calendar of events on our website to participate and attend our Hawks Ridge Events!
