Adding mudras to your yoga practice can bring an added boost of suppirt to the body, mind and spirit. Lets begin with Gyan Mudra!👌🏽

About:
Gyan Mudra (or Jnana Mudra) means the "Seal of Wisdom" or "Seal of Knowledge," a hand gesture where the tip of the thumb and index finger meet, forming a circle, while the other three fingers remain straight, symbolizing the union of the individual soul (index finger) with the universal consciousness (thumb).

It's used in yoga and meditation to improve focus, calm the mind, direct energy flow (prana), and enhance spiritual awareness, often during seated poses.

How to practice Gyan Mudra:

Sit comfortably in a meditative pose (like Lotus or Easy Pose) with hands resting on your knees, palms facing up.

Gently touch the tip of your thumb and index finger together to form a circle.

Keep the middle, ring, and pinky fingers extended and relaxed.

Benefits:

Calms the mind and improves concentration.

Balances the air element in the body.

Helps in redirecting and conserving pranic energy.

Supports mental clarity and spiritual progress.

Strengthens the nervous and muscular systems.

Namaste!

The path forward invites us all to keep working for a brighter, more compassionate world, inspired by the bravehearts who walked this road before us. In honor and memory of one such braveheart, Martin Luther King Jr.

May we have the power to rise, to heal, and to illuminate the way forward.

Riddle 1: Warrior ll
My feet are firm, my arms spread wide,
I gaze ahead with strength and pride.
Still yet fierce, I hold my ground,
Power hums without a sound.
