Red Crescent Clinic of Alabama Our mission is to provide high quality primary care services to everyone regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or ability to pay.

The Red Crescent Clinic of Alabama is a free health clinic and is a collaborative effort by the Birmingham Islamic Society and the Association of Physicians of Pakistani-descent in North America (Alabama chapter). The clinic is a nonprofit medical group comprised of volunteer staff donating their time and talents to serve those in need throughout Alabama. Our ultimate goal is to provide comprehensive primary care to the medically underserved, and ultimately benefit the Alabama community as a whole. Patients are seen by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please call (205) 879-4247 and choose option 4. Leave a message with your name, phone number, and a brief reason for requesting an appointment. A representative of the clinic will return your call within 24 hours to confirm your appointment. Established March 4, 2012

The annual Red Crescent Clinic of Alabama Health Fair is a month away! Come see us on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This year's services will be flu shots, vision screenings, hearing tests, blood sugar/blood pressure/cholesterol monitoring, and consultations with physicians. All services are FREE!

*Flu shots are available for individuals 9+
**All other services are available for individuals 18+

Applications to qualify for the eye exams are available through the UAB School of Optometry.
