Both your feet and your pelvic floor help stabilize your body from the ground up. When your feet are stiff, collapsed, or gripping, that tension travels up the chain — into your hips, core, and yes, your pelvic floor. Even something as simple as spreading your toes or working on balanced foot pressure can help your pelvic floor move and respond better. Next time you’re doing Pilates footwork, focus on grounding through your whole foot. Small changes here can make a big difference up the chain.

We are excited that Regan will be joining our team in January as a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist treating women and kids!

Regan Giordano is a passionate and dedicated physical therapist committed to empowering her patients to achieve optimal health and performance. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida before pursuing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).

Regan has advanced training in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, a specialization that allows her to address a wide range of conditions impacting pelvic health. She has a special interest in supporting young athletes who experience pelvic floor dysfunction, helping them return to their sport and daily activities with confidence and strength.

Through a personalized and compassionate approach, Regan combines evidence-based techniques and tailored exercise programs to provide her patients with the tools they need to succeed. Whether she’s working with athletes, individuals navigating postpartum recovery, or those managing chronic conditions, Regan’s goal is to foster long-term wellness and resilience.

In her free time, Regan enjoys staying active, reading, cooking and baking, and continuing her education to remain at the forefront of her field.
