Maternal mental health is essential in Alabama, especially as Black mothers face some of the highest rates of maternal mortality and mental health disparities in the nation. Events like this not only raise awareness but also foster community, connection, and healing. We are honored to have been part of this vital conversation.

Explore how Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) can be effectively utilized to support victims of sexual trauma. This educational opportunity offers valuable insights and practical tools for professionals working in therapeutic, clinical, or support roles.

CEs are available for those who need them, but even if you don’t, this is an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding and enhance your approach when working with trauma survivors.

This workshop, offered on the weekend, will provide guidance on incorporating CBT and SFT in counseling victims of sexual trauma.
