One of the most persistent myths about CNP fit testing is that the subject stands perfectly still the entire time. That's not how it works.

The REDON protocol includes bending at the waist, head shaking, talking out loud, and two complete re-donnings. Each exercise is designed to challenge the seal before the instrument takes a measurement.

CNP and CNC are both OSHA-accepted and ISO-recognized quantitative fit testing methods. Both produce reliable results. The difference is in how they get there and which respirators they can test.
