Our Story

Southern Smiles Dental is a premier dental practice with a welcoming enviroment that provides comprehensive, preventative and restorative dental care. At the heart of Southern Smiles Dental is Dr. Kelly Guthrie and her highly skilled team. Together, they provide a caring, gentle and comprehensive approach to oral health care.

Dr. Guthrie is a second generation dentist from Russellville, Alabama with over 23 years in the dental field. Dr. Guthrie provides a full range of restorative and cosmetic dental services. While practicing most of her career in Florida, she is thrilled to be back in Alabama. Dr. Guthrie took over Southern Smiles Dental, formally known as Galleria Dental, in August of 2019.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality dental care for our patients. We develop strong relationships with our patients, establishing a partnership to determine the best treatment for their oral health care needs. We believe our patients deserve the utmost care, and we are focused on treating them like we would our own family.
