Multipurpose Technician, Internal Medicine

Job responsibilities include: Greeting and checking in patients for appointments, patient check-out, scheduling follow-up appointments, referral appointments and diagnostic tests, handling medical records requests, answering telephone calls, basic in house lab testing and basic patient triage.

Requirements: Excellent computer skills, motivation to learn and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; medical assistant experience preferred

Traffanstedt Internal Medicine, LLC is pleased to announce that Vivian Myers Davis, CRNP, FNP-C has joined our practice. Vivian is a native of Panama City, Florida and a graduate of Samford University’s undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Vivian spent time in our practice as a student and has been employed here full-time since January. She will begin accepting appointments on Monday May 4th, 2015. She will have same day appointment availability and will see patients both independently and in collaboration with Dr. Traffanstedt. At this time, she is able to see patients with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, Medicaid and United Healthcare insurance plans. We anticipate adding more plans in the near future. We look forward to improving our availability and efficiency and are grateful to have such a wonderful addition to our staff.

Traffanstedt Internal Medicine closed early today due to the threat of inclement weather and poor road conditions. We will reschedule patients as soon as possible. We will reopen on Monday, March 9.

Due to the forecast of potential snow and icy conditions, Traffanstedt Internal Medicine will be closed today. Everyone stay warm and safe. Weather permitting, we will reopen on Thursday Feb 26th.

It's hard to believe that we have been open for 2 months. Thanks to everyone for their support. Remember that Darlene is still accepting new patients so please tell your friends.
