We were honored to meet Hoover Mayor Frank V. Derzis and his wife at the Mardi Gras celebration hosted at the Hoover Senior Center! 🎭💜💛💚Mayor Derzis took time to share his appreciation for the work Aspire Physical Recovery Center at Hoover does for the Hoover community, and that meant so much to our team. 💙

What a wonderful Mardi Gras celebration at the Hoover Senior Center! 🎭💜💛💚 Aspire Physical Recovery Center at Hoover was proud to host The Chuck King Band for a fun-filled day of music, dancing, and community connection. 🎶🕺

A big thank you to our friends at Angel Wings for helping transport some of our rehab guests so they could join in the celebration. 🚐✨ It takes a village, and we’re so grateful for our community partners who help us create moments like these for our guests! 🥰

💝 Valentine’s Day at Aspire Hoover was all about community, compassion, and the future of healthcare! 💝 We were honored to welcome nearly 100 Samford University nursing students into our building to celebrate Valentine’s Day with our residents. This special visit was a beautiful example of what happens when a local university pours into its local community.

Of the group, 90 students spent time delivering Valentine’s cards and sharing smiles, while 10 students worked hands-on with our clinical teams on the floor, gaining real-world experience and learning their craft. We absolutely loved seeing Samford nursing professors on-site, investing in their students and walking alongside them as they grow into the next generation of nurses!

Adding even more joy to the day!!! Hoover’s very own therapy dog stopped by to spread extra love and comfort to our residents and visitors. 🐾💙

We’re ESPECIALLY proud to highlight our Director of Clinical Services, Van, who had the opportunity to speak with the students. As a doctorate-prepared nurse with an extensive background in leadership, Van shared wisdom, encouragement, and real-world insight into what it means to lead with compassion in healthcare. These students were truly blessed by her words as they step into their future careers.

Thank you to Samford University School of Nursing for choosing Aspire Hoover as a place to learn, serve, and connect. This is what community partnership looks like, and we are grateful to be part of shaping the future of nursing right here in Hoover! 💙

Innovation has no age limit. 🚀🧠💙 We were honored to welcome "Team Lift-Off" from Hoover High School to Aspire Physical Recovery Center at Hoover as they tested their innovative ideas using our Hoyer lift. ♿🔧

This incredible group of students, Elijah Burns, Jack Minor, Ryan Guillory, and Luke Burns, are engineering solutions to help increase independence and mobility for people with disabilities. 🙌✨ Their project, which began as a school assignment, is now gaining national recognition and shining a spotlight on what young innovators in our community can accomplish! 🌟

From redesigning traditional lift systems to exploring AI-powered, voice-activated technology, Team Lift-Off is focused on one powerful mission: improving quality of life and expanding independence for those who need it most. 💙♿

We’re so proud to support and cheer on these Hoover students who are already making a real impact in healthcare innovation. The future is bright, and it’s happening right here in our community!!! 👏🔥

These are the moments that fill our hearts 💗 Having the Girl Scout troop from Prince of Peace at Aspire Hoover to play Valentine’s Bingo with our residents brought so much joy, laughter, and connection to our home! 🎯💌
