We are proud to recognize Bailey and Vee in our Emergency Department for their outstanding teamwork and commitment to stroke care. Bailey has been welcomed into the Silver Club through our partnership with the UAMS Stroke Program an achievement she was quick to share would not have been possible without Vee by her side.

Together, their door-to-needle times of 41 minutes and 39 minutes reflect exceptional coordination across departments. From arrival to evaluation, imaging, and administration of the clot-busting medication, every step happened with precision and urgency.

This recognition highlights what is possible when teamwork, preparation, and communication come together. We are incredibly proud of Bailey, Vee, and every department involved in making outcomes like this a reality for our patients. 💙🏥

Today, hospital and EMS healthcare leaders from across Southwest Arkansas met in Hope, Arkansas as the Southwest Arkansas Healthcare Consortium with a shared goal: partnering together to better serve the citizens and communities of our region while supporting long-term healthcare stability.

Through open discussion and collaboration, these leaders are focused on strengthening healthcare across Southwest Arkansas today and into the future.

Today, we celebrate two remarkable women who have dedicated so much of their lives to caring for others. 💙

Liz Nunn and Beverly Rowe are beginning a well-earned retirement after years of service, commitment, and compassion. Liz spent more than 10 years working alongside Dr. Garrett, while Beverly brings an incredible 40-year nursing career, including over 20 years with Dr. Garrett.

Their impact on our patients, our team, and our community is lasting and meaningful. Please join us in thanking Liz and Beverly for their service and wishing them nothing but the best in this next chapter.

Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center now offers Skilled Nursing Beds, allowing patients to continue receiving skilled care after a hospital stay without leaving their community.

From physical therapy and wound care to IV therapy, respiratory care, and more, patients can now heal close to home, surrounded by familiar faces and trusted caregivers. Even better, we can accept patients transitioning from other hospitals across the region.
