❤️ RIP Cathy Salerno ❤️

We are so saddened by the loss of our dear friend. Cathy has been a dedicated and very active member of the East Fishkill Fire District, especially as an EMT with the Rescue Squad. We are grateful for her 50+ years of service, and for the positive impact she had on our members and the community.
Our sincere condolences go out to her family and friends.

Today is a sad day for The Hillside Lake Fire Company and The East Fishkill Fire District.
Cathy has been a life member of The Hillside Lake Fire Company for almost 55 years. She was a dedicated nurse, emt, and friend. She loved her family and the firehouse membership was her second family away from home in which she loved deeply. Cathy was a Trustee and past Lieutenant of The East Fishkill Rescue Squad for Station 3. Cathy was one of the strongest women we have known, keeping up just as well as our younger members during our Cross Fit Firefighter Challenge just a couple of years ago. Cathy’s kind heart and charming personality is something we will always remember and cherish.
Our hearts go out to her family as Cathy was our family. Our deepest condolences and prayers to all the lives Cathy has touched over the years. We got it from here Cathy 🚑❤️

The men and women of the East Fishkill Fire District offer our deepest condolences to our brothers and sisters of the East Fishkill Police Department.

As first responders, our paths often cross in various capacities. A loss for one is a loss for all.
