We are sorry to inform you that; Beginning April 1st, 2025, we will no longer accept MEDICAID.

If you prefer to fill your scripts with us, we’ll gladly continue to fill your Medicaid scripts for the cost of the medication.

Although we are listed as a provider on the NYS MEDICAID website, we have been unable to bill MEDICAID for the last 30 months (2 1/2 years!) Our business cannot sustain such losses any longer.

We are NOT the only independent pharmacy in Dutchess County that has been cut off from submitting claims. Hopefully this can be resolved soon, so us independents can compete with the big guys again.

We still accept MEDICARE and most insurances.

We apologize for the inconvenience

It’s usually frowned upon for a small business to endorse a candidate. But this year, we feel it’s imperative to do so. Check our store out tomorrow to see who we fully endorse. We will have our political signs up by noon! The candidate we are endorsing has some great ideas, but we understand if you don’t share the same views as our candidate

Most of you know, we provide medication to hospice patients throughout the county. Our work was halted yesterday because of the power loss from the gas explosion. Our good friend Vincent Spiconardi, quickly set us up with his own generator. Once we were set up, unfortunately, we had no internet.
Much to our surprise, an Optimum employee was outside working on our line. He told us how grateful he was that we had provided our services to his family member on hospice, and he wanted to make sure we were up and running.
Thank you Vincent and Optimum. We really appreciate you.
With that said, please be aware, we are very behind today. Coming off of a holiday weekend, and a non productive Tuesday, please be patient today. We are all trying our best to catch up

Congratulations Doctor Jess!

The idea of doing this came to me right away once I saw the wooden window go up in place of our glass window that unfortunately got broken.
This flag means the absolute world to me ever since I was a kid because every time I see it, it always reminds me of my great grandfather who served as a police officer down in mount Vernon for many years, as well as a navy officer in the Korean War. So seeing that flag flying in front of our store makes me more then happy and helps remind me of my grandfather and every police officer who keeps us protected and safe every day , as well as keeps our businesses safe and running. So It was only right that we did this to honor the police those still serving, those who are retired, those who were lost in the line of duty, and the ones who have fallen due to illness or old age. And especially to honor the EFPD who responded within a minute of the call of the break in from Steve when he got the alert to prevent any further damage and any further stolen property. If it weren’t for them responding so quick who knows how much could have been taken or how much damage could have been done to our small town mom and pop drugstore. As many know we had the words Hopewell strong etched in our glass window for years, that was to show how much a town can come together in times like these. Once again you all have come together as a town and put your differences aside to help us, and well as each other when needed most. We all just want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making sure we are okay and offering your help to us. That is what Hopewell strong is all about, coming together as one, stronger together. Thank you all once again as we all continue to grow from this and let’s continue to be Hopewell strong!

Sincerely,
Brandon J Coryea

Today at 5:30am, our store was broken into. This is a police matter, under investigation and we are unable to go into detail about what transpired.

Although we feel violated, we also feel truly blessed. Our employees are safe, the police are safe, we are safe and your private information is safe. We appreciate the outpouring of love from the community and our friends.

East Fishkill Police responded within 2 minutes of our alarm being engaged. Thank you East Fishkill Police, we are humbled by your bravery and guidance. And we are thankful for all the work you are doing.

To our customers, please be patient with us over the next few days. We have a lot of work to do in addition to our daily responsibilities; inventory, insurance, contractors and providing information for the detectives. Our employees are also dealing with the events that transpired. It may take a few days to get back to business as usual.
