As many of you have already heard, Hopewell Drug's final day of business will be September 11, 2024.

Serving you and being a part of this community has been a privilege and an honor. We deeply appreciate the trust and support you have shown us over the years. Your loyalty has been the cornerstone of our business, and it has been our pleasure to provide you with the care and service you deserve. Surviving as an independent pharmacy is exceedingly difficult in today's environment, and we continued as long as we possibly could.

To ensure a smooth transition, we have arranged for your prescription files to be transferred automatically to the nearby Rite Aid location. Additionally, some of our dedicated employees will be available there to assist you and answer any questions you may have during this transition.

We invite you to visit us one last time before our closing date. It would mean a lot to us to say goodbye in person and express our gratitude for your support.

Thank you once again for allowing us to serve you. We are deeply grateful for the many years of trust and partnership. If you have any questions or need assistance during this transition, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Hopewell Drug would like to thank Virginia delegates Mike Cherry, Kim Taylor, Carrie Coyner, and Senator Lasharese Aird for taking time out of their busy schedules and visiting our pharmacy to learn about the pressing issues that threaten the survival of our profession. Together we hope to provide awareness and continue to make changes in all areas of pharmacy to better serve our communities and patients.
