We would like to welcome Palmer College of Chiropractic Student Doctor Sy TerAvest! Sy is completing his preceptorship with our office (the final trimester before graduation). He will be with us until the beginning of October and then will return to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa for graduation. Sy has completed all of his required patient numbers and clinic hours and we are humbled he chose our office to complete his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Hi, I’m Sy TerAvest. I was born and raised in Allegan and graduated from Allegan High School in 2017. After high school I went to the University of Tampa in Tampa, FL to study marine biology. While studying marine biology I quickly learned that I did not want to spend my career working in a lab with dead fish, so I started looking for more fulfilling career options. I wanted a career where I could make the most meaningful impact on peoples’ lives and landed on chiropractic. I started my chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic during the summer of 2020 and haven’t looked back since. I will graduate this October with highest honors and am the recipient of the Clinical Excellence Award. When I am not at the clinic I am an avid endurance athlete having completed an Ironman triathlon and several ultramarathons. I am also recently engaged and planning a wedding for next year.
