Inclement Weather Update for 01/26:

Opening at 10a:
JennieCare Urgent Clinic

Today, 01/26, all other Outpatient Clinics (including Physical/Occupational Therapy) are closed for today. Patients will be contacted to reschedule.

Also closed:
-Medical Imaging Center on Eagle Way Bypass
(scheduled patients are being contacted and being moved to Main Campus or rescheduled as appropriate)
-Express Lab on Eagle Way Bypass
-Ambulatory Surgery Campus on Eagle Way Bypass
(scheduled patients are being contacted and being moved to Main Campus or rescheduled as appropriate)

All Deaconess hospitals and Emergency Departments remain open 24/7 and are available to care for anyone with serious or life-threatening medical needs. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 immediately.

Keep from coming to see us as often (though we'd be glad to see you as often as you need!) with back to school wellness tips.

1) Healthy snacks help! Make snacks colorful & pack some protein in where possible.
2) Mental health does matter as much as physical help. Stay in tune with your kids as they navigate a new class & new challenges.
3) Sneeze in your elbows, not your hands! Teaching kids that (plus good hand washing all around) helps minimize the transfer of germs.

These two go hand in hand! When trying to stay well this back to school season, make sure your kids are hydrated & active. While the weather still allows it (and even when you have to bundle), spending time outdoors versus inside all day will help immune systems fight bugs that may be going around.
