"I am a big advocate for getting hearing aids when needed. Not only will you hear more clearly, but for me the anxiety and fatigue that went along with struggling to hear dissipated. Just a friendly reminder after asking a patient today about her noise exposure history. There is absolutely nothing wrong with going to concerts and enjoying live music, most of my friends and patients know that I do. Just make sure you do it responsibly, you can get custom musicians earplugs or order them online. Here is a picture of me and my son with my earplugs in while watching the Foo Fighters at Fenway Park this summer and also some examples of what the musician's plugs can look like. A couple of big milestones today. It was eight years ago today that I officially opened the doors of Hopkinton Audiology and I am now up to 1,100 patients! I never had expected my practice to grow this quickly. Thank you all for the love and support in opening and helping the practice continue to grow!
