Family-owned and operated for three generations, the Callanan Cronin Funeral Home is the oldest operating business in the town of Hopkinton. Opened in 1889 by Thomas Callanan the funeral home is currently owned and operated by Thomas Callanan's grandson, funeral director and

lifelong Hopkinton resident Tom Cronin. Tom is a licensed Massachusetts funeral director and embalmer, having graduated from the New England Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in 1978. In addition to his grandfather Tom follows in the footsteps of his uncle T Francis Callanan, mother Mary Callanan Cronin, and father Earl Cronin. Tom resides in Hopkinton with his wife Elizabeth and two sons.
