Before you judge…
please understand.

💙 Autism doesn’t always look the way people expect.
And parenting an autistic child?
It’s a different kind of strength.

These aren’t “rules”…
These are realities many autism moms live every single day.

👉 A meltdown isn’t misbehavior
👉 Silence isn’t rudeness
👉 Routine isn’t control — it’s safety

Every child is trying in their own way.
Every parent is doing more than you can see.

đź’” The hardest part?
Not autism…
but being misunderstood by the world.

🙏 If this changed your perspective even a little…
please share it. Someone needs to hear this today.

For many autistic children, clothes aren’t just something you throw on in the morning.

A tiny tag can feel unbearable. Seams can feel sharp. A fabric that was “fine” yesterday can suddenly be overwhelming today.

Sensory processing isn’t consistent, it shifts depending on stress, energy levels, and the world around them.

So when a child refuses to get dressed, changes outfits multiple times, or insists on wearing the same clothes every day, it’s not about being difficult. It’s about comfort, control, and trying to feel okay in their own body.

That “same outfit” is often the one thing they can trust to feel right.

A little understanding goes a long way. đź’›

Lord 🙏🏾, when You bless me, give me the wisdom not to give it all away to other folks‼️
Teach me to steward what You’ve placed in my hands.

It’s my blessing—help me to receive it, appreciate it, and enjoy it with gratitude.
Amen.

Not everyone sees the Mental Health side… but I do.
Some people look at individuals who are struggling through normal eyes and expect a normal outcome, but it doesn’t work like that for everyone.

Mental health challenges are real, and they deserve understanding, compassion, and proper treatment—not judgment. Let’s learn to see people beyond their behavior and recognize the battles they may be fighting internally.

Mental Health is Real and Must Be Treated.

I wanted to do a check-in to see how everyone is doing.
Being in the home with someone with Autism or ADHD during this Winter Storm can be very challenging and stressful. You are not alone.

We are praying for every family—especially those without electricity, heat, or water, doing the best they can in survival mode.
You can make it through this.

Short Prayer:
God, we ask for peace in every home, strength for every caregiver, comfort for every child, and provision for every family in need. Cover us with warmth, protection, and hope during this storm. Amen.
