🚨 Facility Closure Notice – Saturday, December 27 🚨

Due to the storm, Hornell YMCA will remain CLOSED on Saturday, December 27th. The safety of our members, staff, and community is our top priority, and we want to ensure no unnecessary travel is needed.

❄️ All Biddy Basketball games will be postponed
❄️ All Group Exercise classes will be cancelled

Please stay home if you can and stay safe. We look forward to welcoming you back Sunday during regular hours, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

✨ From Unlucky to Lucky! ✨
Our Wayland-Cohocton After-School LEAPS kiddos wrapped up camp invention this semester by rebuilding the Town of Unlucky into the Town of Lucky! 🏗️🌈

The kids designed and built everything our town needed: a school, hospital, police station, fire department, airport, gas station, Target, and even a pizza shop! 🍕🚓🚒

They added beautiful flowers and people they created themselves, bringing the whole town to life.
What a creative, teamwork-filled way to end camp, so proud of our builders and dreamers!

🎄✨ Tonight, our incredible childcare staff team came together from all of our childcare sites to celebrate another amazing year and enjoy some holiday fun! As you can see from the photos, fun was truly had by all. With games, great food, contests, and even better company, it was a night to remember.
Rashell Pastore, VP of Childcare Operations, would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of our amazing childcare staff members. Without your dedication, passion, and hard work, our programs would not be as special or successful as they are.

🌟 Super Saturdays at the Y! 🌟

Super Saturdays is a fun and enriching program for kids ages 3-9! Each week, kids will enjoy developmentally appropriate themed games and activities, including crafts, sensory bins, STEM experiments, group games, and more.

When the weather is nice, we take the fun outside with scavenger hunts, nature walks, water play, and other exciting outdoor activities. Kids get to explore all the stations, express creativity, develop new skills, and have a blast—all in a safe and supportive environment.

🗓 Winter Session: 1/5–2/14/2026
⏰ Saturdays: 9:30am – 11:00am
💲 Cost: $45 - Members | $60 - Community

Not only did our VP of Childcare surprise all of our After-School kiddos with fun goodie bags filled with craft supplies, but the Bath LEAPS After-School crew had an extra special visit… their ELF showed up, with GIFTS!🧝‍♂️✨

The kids loved unwrapping presents and discovering brand-new toys from a Barbie car 🚗 to dragons 🐉 and dinosaurs 🦖. Smiles, excitement, and holiday magic were everywhere!
