We are proud to honor Bro. Ryan Broers as a 2025 Hall of Fame inductee! 💙

Bro. Ryan was born in Alpena, Michigan, and has devoted his life to faith, family, and service. As Pastor for over 25 years, he has made an incredible impact both locally and around the world.

He is the Founder and President of Orphans & Widows International, planting churches and serving communities in Uganda, East Africa. For the past 18 years, he has also volunteered faithfully here at Signature HealthCARE of Hart County — bringing hope, comfort, and prayer to our residents and staff.

Thank you, Bro. Ryan, for your heart of service and unwavering faith. You truly embody what it means to serve with love. 🙌

Last night we celebrated Connie O’Banion, one of our 2025 Hall of Fame inductees! 🌟

Connie was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and has been part of our Signature family for many years as our Business Office Manager. Known for her kind heart and her willingness to pray for anyone in need, Connie shines God’s light in everything she does.

She believes deeply in the golden rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Her compassion, faith, and dedication to our residents and families make her a true example of servant leadership.

Congratulations, Connie — your heart and faith have touched so many lives here at SHC of Hart County! 💐

Last night we honored Jeff “Pookie” Pedigo as one of our 2025 Hall of Fame inductees! 💙

Born and raised in Glasgow, Jeff has always been known for his sense of humor, his strong work ethic, and his love for family. Married to Cindy for 42 years, their love story began all the way back in grade school — and it’s one for the ages!

Jeff was his father Albert’s “right-hand man” on the farm, and that same dedication has carried through his life. He loves spending time with his granddaughter and says his happiest moment was the day she was born.

Jeff, thank you for your laughter, kindness, and friendship. You make SHC of Hart County a brighter place every day! 🌾

Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Dot has always been known for her joyful spirit and her love for people. She worked hard all her life from the factory to leading the housekeeping team at the Budget Host Inn and always found a way to make others smile.

Dot is remembered for her laughter, her generosity, and her heart for others. Her friendship with Gada is a true testament to the love she gives — a bond that became family.

Celebrating Debbie Street – 35 Years of Dedication and Heart

After 35 wonderful years with Signature HealthCARE, Debbie Street, CEO of Signature HealthCARE of Elizabethton Rehab & Wellness Center is retiring.

Debbie began her journey with Signature in the Business Office and Human Resources, and over the years, her leadership and compassion have left an enduring impact on residents, staff, and the community she calls home.

“What I love most about Signature is our focus on residents’ happiness and staff engagement,” Debbie shares. “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities for growth and learning that Signature HealthCARE has provided me. I’ve had the chance to collaborate with remarkable colleagues and be part of many exciting projects that have truly changed the landscape of long-term care.”

Having grown up in the Elizabethton community, Debbie has known many residents and their families personally. She treasures the moments spent listening to their life stories — moments that reflect the deep sense of family and connection that define Signature’s mission.

As she steps into retirement, Debbie looks forward to spending more quality time with her family, especially serving as her granddaughter’s chauffeur to school and sports. She also plans to indulge in her love for DIY projects, church work, and traveling — taking time to simply slow down and enjoy life’s blessings.

“I sincerely appreciate the relationships I’ve built and the experiences that have enriched my life,” Debbie says. “Thank you for the opportunities and trust you’ve placed in me during my 35 years. I wish Signature HealthCARE continued success. God bless.”
