Happy Sunday, everyone! Just counting my many blessings and thought I'd share this one...God and my Dog.
GrrrlyGrrrl...many ask me about her because she's so much like a human. My vet is even amazed! I believe she was about 8 months old when God brought us together. My heart was devastated and shattered over the unexpected loss of my soul kitty, (Snuggleupagus, March 2021) and I didn't think I could ever love a pet like that again...🥺🥹😭 I month later...
In a random small town, GrrrlyGrrrl was a stray that I almost ran over in April of 2021. I checked her out and noticed she was covered in huge ticks that had been hanging on for quite some time so I knew she'd been out running alone for the fall and winter without care.
Don't hate me. I drove away... Then that fateful glance...I looked in the rear-view mirror and saw her ears flopping as she chased me.
Ugh... I just couldn't...but I did.
I turned around and she jumped in my car. I thought I would easily find her a great home so I was just calling her Girly Girl. Remember... I was constricted and completely resistant to loving an animal again!! God knows me best and was instantly weaving our hearts together without me knowing it.
I know God brought her to me to show me that our hearts are meant to love and break and love and break and love and break. A heart can't break if it doesn't love... that's why we are all here. It's a package deal.
Well...she thawed out my frozen, resistant, broken heart and in days, she brought me back to life with my loving, compassionate heart back up and running.
I kept putting off the task of finding that perfect home...😅🤣😂🥰
GrrrlyGrrrl has had my heart wrapped around her paws since the moment we met...just like Snuggleupagus. I changed her name a bit to something more creative and cute...it matches her perfectly!
Snuggleupagus and GrrrlyGrrrl are like the same soul energy and perfect personality. Did my cat jump into a stray dog's body to be with me again? 😇🙏😇 Who knows? It sure does feel like that "everlasting life" God promises.
I'm 100% sure God blessed all 3 of us that day.
