Gratz Apparatus Of The Month
The Baby Armchair
This one is extra-special, having belonged to the great Kathryn Ross Nash. I call this beauty The Queen’s Chair and The Goddess Chair. It is set (with a little “sveat”) for my completed Profile Series. Anyone who knows this powerful apparatus, knows that you can put Baby in a corner, but she will steal the spotlight, remain front and center, give you a kick in the seat, and set you straight; ala Romana, the most powerful apparatus for teaching you to find your Powerhouse. Still true!! How I love that my clients message me with their homework accomplishments and even ask for more. They know the economy of isometrics and Pilates movement, it’s about well-executed specific exercises and quality over quantity. We never beat ourselves up to thrive, but sweat happens!
