With it being back to school 📚 season and Fall 🍂 right around the corner, you may be wondering 🤔….how will I be able to work on my goals with everything else going on?

One simple & effective answer to that would be to ✨TAKE BABY STEPS ✨

Vs. putting the extra stress on yourself to make extreme changes or defining success as following a set of strict food rules.

Baby steps add up and support making the long-term changes needed for getting long-term results 🏆

Self care can mean so many different things.

Bottom line - it’s so SOO important to get enough of it. Going through life feeling depleted because you’re giving all your energy to others/other things is a great set up for physical & mental health issues.

One form of self care that I want to highlight today is MINDFUL EATING! 🧘‍♂️🍽️

Thank you 🙏 Haverford College and Charles Crawford for having Pro Lifestyle Nutrition, LLC 🍎 at the annual employee wellness fair.

Always so amazing to see Jessica Hallahan (Harrington) MPH too who offers corporate wellness workshops and consulting focused on managing stress.

This year, we shared tips for how to “nourish” a beneficial relationship with food - a topic our team of Registered Dietitians is very passionate about because it’s a key to achieving sustainable results with personal health/weight-related goals.

If the relationship with food is compromised, stressful, and/or negative, the approach most likely will not work - long term.

We also shared information about employee nutrition coaching. Employees enrolled in the Haverford College’s group health plan are 100% covered for up to 6 nutrition coaching sessions per calendar year. This is a benefit that we turned into an employee wellness initiative.

We look forward to continuing to support the college and employees with their health & wellness efforts!😀
