Happy world breastfeeding week!!

I have now been breastfeeding for 5.5 years with minimal breaks between each baby! While all of my journeys have been painless, literally and figuratively. That doesn’t mean I havn’t learned a lot! I enjoy learning about all the health benefits for mama and baby that come with breastfeeding. And I enjoy learning about all the struggles that can come with breastfeeding and solutions, hacks, and experts to turn to.

I continue to attribute my success to my supportive friends and family. I hope to be a support person to all other women who wish to breastfeed. I want to be an ear to listen and a guide to help find any resources they may need.

Every woman’s journey in feeding their children will look and feel different. But finding your support team is the most important part.

Check out MotherhoodAlliance.com for local breastfeeding and feeding expert support or message me for any seasoned mama advice and encouragement!

* Over 40% of Americans are thought to be deficient in magnesium.
* Magnesium is essential in DNA repair and mitochondrial repair.
* 60% of magnesium is stored in the bones, low dietary magnesium will cause increased magnesium to be pulled from the bones and risk later in life bone density levels and osteoporosis.
* 50% of adults, 20% of young adults 18-39 years old, have high blood pressure and increased magnesium could help correct it.
* Mental and physical stress has shown to decrease magnesium levels.
* Sources of dietary magnesium: leafy greens, nuts, legumes, fish.
* See stories and highlights for supplementary options.
