This is what we call the big room. Look at all that space!!!

I have been itching to rearrange this room and today after nap I decided I was done with this set up.

The hot wheel table is open as well.
The cots are in the closet and out of the way and nap time will be easier with this arrangement.

I love children’s literature!

I am paying my one of my Big kids Hayden $.50 a book that he reads to the kids. He has to write down the date, book name, who he read it to, and what the book was about.
I am so excited to see the improvements made on all participants.

These kids worked so hard on their Mother’s Day gifts. I only filled in the little spots and modge podged them. All kiddos picked out the vase they wanted to give to Mom. I told them to pick the color and then to cover all the white. Our last step was to pick out the flowers and then decorate the bag everything went home with.

No worries Dads I won’t forget you this year, I already have a plan!

We are starting letter of the day!! This will be an activity that will be done on days when my 3yr old is here.

We read the book There was an Old Lady who swallowed some snow.
We sang the song days of the week.
We sang the song the A says (phonic sounds for A)
We talked about the weather and today’s date.
The kids then worked on tracing the upper case A and the lower case A as well as coloring an apple, acorn and 2 ants.
The second line is to practice their names as well.

Fun fact no two snowflakes are the same.

When I tell you the kids had a blast, the pictures back it up. They had glitter glue, sequence and sticky gems to decorate their snow flakes.

I am so glad I used cardstock and put them on paper plates. The clean up was not bad if you can believe it.

This is such a fun way to paint. Once the kids are done with the paint we made impressions using paper laid over the top...
