We are turning 3 this March!!!! AND it’s time for our biannual Equinox community book swap!

RULES:
We like breaking rules, too but we don’t wanna have to turn you away or kick you out for cutting the line, breaking the tent, or pushing old ladies (yes yall did that last time 😬🤨🥹)

THIS IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED EVENT!

11am-1pm ( must be in line to drop off books by 1pm!)

Bring your gently used fiction/ non-fiction books to the swap tent.
Collect ticket/ per book. LIMIT 20 Books / person.

1-2pm Tent Closed for sorting.

2pm - Swap begins. We will allow 3 people in tent at a time for 15 minutes ( in order of ticket numbers). Max number of
people in tent will be 6 at a time.
We will keep allowing folks to enter until 4pm.
All books left over will be donated

Today is March's New Moon! 🌑 During a full Moon, we see the side of the Moon that is illuminated by the Sun, giving the Moon its bright, glowing appearance. During a New Moon, however, we see the side of the Moon that is not being illuminated by the Sun, which makes the Moon blend in with the night sky 🌑

As the New Moon crosses the sky during the day, rising and setting around the same time as the Sun, it’s lost in the solar glare. The New Moon is also lit up from behind, showing us its dark side. Join us every 3rd Thursday evening for Silent Book Club - Hot Springs Chapter Meet-Up.
How does it work?
1. Arrive at shop around 5-5:30 ( whatever works for you!)
2. Purchase your coffee/ tea/ drinks. Small snacks also available.
3. We meet & greet, chat for a few minutes ( optional)
4. Find a cozy spot in the shop or the patio. (Patio to be open weather permitting.)
5. Read our own books of choice in a comfortable silence.
This group takes place at The Electric Strawberry- a progressive Indie bookstore attached to a coffee shop and salt cave. Should you choose to read in the SALT ROOM; a $10 fee applies. Otherwise, this is a FREE event.
