At Gentiva Hospice, Spiritual care is at the heart of what we do. Chaplain Brian & Chaplain Allen, provides comfort, guidance, & compassionate presence to our patients, families, team, and communities every single day.
Their dedication reminds us that Spiritual support is not just about Faith, but it is about connection, peace, & understanding during life's most meaningful moments.

Why I Chose Hospice:
"My name is Shanice, and I've been in the healthcare field for nearly ten years. Most of that time was spent caring for the elderly through home health, where I developed a deep appreciation for building meaningful, lasting relationships with my patients and their families. Recently, I have experienced a strong calling towards hospice care. There's something profoundly special about being able to provide comfort, dignity, and compassion during one of life's most tender and difficult moments. It's an honor to walk alongside patients and their loved ones during this stage of life. I am truly excited to join Gentiva and continue doing what I love — providing heartfelt care and support to those who need it most."

Our Volunteer Coordinator, Felicia, is busy leading the 2025 Food Drive for Jackson House, & we're so thankful for generous supporters like Jeromy Haight, from Platinum Paintless Dent Repair, who donated canned goods to help make a difference in our community.

Every donation brings us one step closer to supporting families in need, & we couldn't do it without the compassion of people like Jeromy and the leadership of Felicia.

With 7 years of dedication at Gentiva Hospice, she has worked her way into the Admission Coordinator role & has been in this role 4 years. Her compassion, commitment, and heart for service, shine through with every patient and family she encounters.
