✨ It’s the end of Occupational Therapy Month… and we’ve got to say it one more time ....our OTs are kind of amazing. 🙌
But we get this question all the time:
“What exactly do people go to OT for?” 🤔
Short answer? A LOT more than you might think.
At New Hope Therapy, our Occupational Therapists help people of all ages with things like:
💛 Fine motor skills (holding a pencil, buttoning clothes, using utensils)
💛 Sensory processing (helping kids who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or overstimulated)
💛 Daily life skills (getting dressed, brushing teeth, independence at home)
💛 Feeding challenges and picky eating
💛 Handwriting and school readiness
💛 Strength, coordination, and motor planning
💛 Support for diagnoses like autism, ADHD, and developmental delays
Basically… if it affects your ability to live life well, OT is there. 👏
And we’re so thankful for our incredible OT team who show up every day with patience, creativity, and a whole lot of heart.
If you’ve ever wondered if OT could help your child (or even yourself), this is your sign to reach out. We’d love to walk alongside you. 🤝
