Sometimes parents ask what we did on the bus and the answer is BLOW BUBBLES! 🫧

Sure it’s a fun task, but it’s way more than that! It helps:

🫧 -jaw excursion, grading and stability. This helps: chewing skills, drooling/food falling out, and decreases risk of aspiration(food/liquid getting into lungs)

🫧- tongue-jaw disassociation (when moving your tongue up down and side-to -side your jaw DOESN’T move). This helps: difficulty moving food inside the mouth while eating and inconsistent sound productions.

🫧-lip rounding for speech sounds and open cup and straw drinking.

We don’t always play! There is a method to my madness. 😂 please enjoy the pics of wide jaw excursion, poor stability/grading and poor tongue-jaw disassociation. And thank you to my most beautiful models. 🥰
