How It All Started
Hi! I’m Amy Thomas, the owner-operator of Thai-Me Spa. Hot Springs, AR’s premier day spa. I’m a Master Massage Therapist specializing in medical massage, Thai massage, and reflexology.
The Thai-Me Spa journey starts in Thailand, where I spent time furthering my education. I fell in love with the locals and their way of doing things. Their culture seemed centered around mastering the state of health through massage, meditation, and food - things I believed in. My time in Thailand was spent learning new techniques, receiving massages myself, and soaking up all the wisdom I could from the great people of Thailand. (And zip lining, cooking and playing with tigers 😉)
My time in Thailand was incredible and really moved me. I knew I needed, and wanted, to share my new techniques and wisdom with my clients in Hot Springs. So in 2009, I opened the first Thai-Me Spa.
At 22 years old, I was not only the business owner but I was Thai-Me Spa’s only massage therapist. It wasn’t easy at times, but I was committed to my goal of developing a team of like-minded therapists dedicated to their clients’ relaxation & pain relief just as much as I am. After learning many lessons along the way, I’ve found just that. The therapists and staff at Thai-Me Spa helped make my dream a reality, and I’m extremely grateful to call them family.
